[ He is so not near the monastery. And to doubly prove it, Gorgug sends a short video message that pans around the empty south side of Nova City, and then looks back on a white(-ish?)-bricked building.

Geographically, some place called "The Institute" is pretty much right in the middle. Thing is, you'd be taking the scenic route then. Think it'd be easier if we met somewhere around Alexandria's Wake.

I'll see if I can get across to the Institute? I know that place-- I knew the lady who took care of it. [ Not that he's been there for a while, but...! ] My van can swim. I'll see if there's a spot I can go over.

A van. [ Yuri thinks back on his time in Moorecroft. Wasn't that one of those metal vehicles that required no horse to pull it along...? ] I had no idea they could cross water.

My parents modified it. They're tinkerers-- I've been thinking about adding floating, too.
[ Said in that tone of, oh, you know, they're just pretty rad and I'm also their son. But there's the sound of something, and then what can be identified as a door closing. ]

Uh, well... ...I'll have to float along until I find somewhere to pull the van up. But that's why I'm going to try and find a good spot both sides, first-- it shouldn't take too long to check.

Which doesn't take too long and fortunately, the two sections of land not having a massive difference in height from one another to cause an issue getting across. He was worried about cliffs!! ...maybe he shouldn't have been worried about cliffs, he's lived here long enough. But who ever said he paid attention to these things?
So Yuri will get a message after five minutes or so, because he just has to check: ]

[ Which Gorgug will probably arrive at first, as Yuri is wyvern-less. He hangs outside the building's premises with his cool ride, not wanting to wander on inside and have something happen to him a second time.
[ It does take Yuri longer, a reality that can't be helped. The man may be perfectly capable of keeping up on foot with mounted fighters on a battlefield, but that doesn't help him with water or other geographical quirks.
He does get there eventually though, and upon sighting the van, he veers in that direction. ]
[ Gorgug's got some company while waiting. He sits with the driver side door open, letting tunes play of the rock variety, the entity inside his van as chill as ever, being an ear whenever he finds some mindless chatter to talk about to pass the time.
Gorgug isn't sure if many people even come this way anymore. But when he does spot a figure, he watches, but waits for them to approach closer before he lets his dangling legs hit the ground--not a far off way, when his figure comes to 6'6" upon standing, and he rounds the open van door, green hand on its metal. Should he wait for them to come directly to the van? ...well, he decides to be a little nice, and to start walking to meet them, greet them, hands awkwardly balling into the pockets of his hoodie jacket as he calls out: ]

[ Please be Yuri. He should've asked for a photo...!! ]
