Kind of? It's an Officer's Academy, training for leadership and the like. But it includes getting deployed to handle problems in the region, whether looking into or resolving them, so I guess if adventuring was a formal assignment...
[ Is it similar, sort of? It's the first Yuri has heard of adventuring in a way that suggests it's a career path. ]
Then there's a magic academy, up in Fhirdiad. My homeland's capital city.

There's separate academies for different skills, too. My school's, they bring people with different interests together, and then you get training for that interest, but working in teams. So I get mad and hit things hard, but we have a cleric, a wizard, a fighter, and a rogue on the team, too.
[ Yuri's just assuming, what with the bit about hitting things. He does have a self-assigned friend who calls himself the King of Grappling though, so he might just think of people who fight with fists as a result. ]

People can get into specializations like healing or offensive magic, ranged and close-quarters combat, all that. I picked up a little bit of everything. Well, save axes and lances. Too cumbersome for me personally.
